• Location Data: We collect precise real-time location coordinates to display device location on your encrypted web dashboard and facilitate tracking/recovery.
• Device Telemetry: Battery status, network connectivity logs, signal strength, and device status to provide critical information during recovery.
• Secure Vault & Biometrics: PINs and identity verification tokens used to secure the app against unauthorized access (processed and verified locally on the device).
• Evidence Captures: Photos and audio captured during active "Theft Mode" sessions to aid in verification and law enforcement reporting.

3. How Your Data Is Used

Data is processed locally on your device whenever possible. Cloud-based telemetry is strictly limited to:

• Syncing secure logs and real-time locations to your account at trytracai.com.
• Providing Law Enforcement Reports (only upon your explicit request).
• Sending emergency SMS notifications to your configured trusted contacts.

4. Data Retention and Erasure

We retain device tracking and location history for a maximum of 30 days. After this period, coordinates and logs are automatically and permanently purged from our servers. You may trigger immediate erasure of all your personal data and account logs at any time via the settings panel in the mobile app.
